28505 - WLM Report Classes - Effective Setup and Usage

Track: MVS

Date: Wed, Mar 3rd, 2021
Time: 12:20 PM - 12:50 PM
Room: Room 2

Description:

An effective WLM report class setup can be a power tool in the arsenal of any z/OS performance analyst. Rarely are WLM report classes used to their full potential. Most WLM administrators set them up, but then never use them. Many times, report classes are not even set up effectively to begin with. Then when it comes time to debug a performance problem, or when management asks a question about a specific workload, the report class setup falls short of their its objective. During this session WLM expert Peter Enrico will walk you through an effective report class setup. Report examples will be provided so you can see first-hand the power of a great report class structure.
