Key Dates

  • September 20, 2019: Call for Presentations closes
  • October 21-23, 2019: Speakers are notified of their session status
  • October 28, 2019: Online agenda goes live
  • January 27, 2020: Last chance to notify SHARE Association if your session should be closed to the media. Email the session number and title to speakers@SHARE.org.
  • February 21, 2020: Upload presentations in your Speaker Gateway to ensure availability to attendees during SHARE Fort Worth
  • February 23-28, 2020: SHARE Fort Worth
  • March 6, 2020: Final deadline to upload presentation: All submissions must be in by 5:00 p.m. CT.

  • Acknowledge/Decline your session participation
  • Upload your presentation(s)
  • Update your Speaker Information
  • View session evaluation information once your session(s) has taken place

A/V Room Set

The standard set for technical session rooms include:

  • LCD projector and screen
  • 1 wireless lavaliere microphone
  • 1 handheld microphone
  • HDMI cord and adaptors

Speakers will need to bring their own device for their presentation. Complimentary WiFi will be available throughout the event space.


Promote Your Session(s)
Generate interest in your session(s) now by taking advantage of SHARE's active and growing social media communities, as well as your own social networks, to promote your upcoming participation. Remember: when posting about the event, be sure to include the event hashtag: #SHAREftw.

Presentation Tips and Recommendations 

The following information is provided to help you plan, prepare, and deliver a professional presentation. Whether you are presenting solo or with other speakers, we encourage you to review the information.

Top 10 Tips for a Successful Presentation

  1. Bring a backup copy to the session
  2. Include your session title on your first slide
  3. List your contact information on your last slide
  4. Use large, easy to read font and avoid charts that don’t show well
  5. Speak clearly and remember to breath between points
  6. Allow for interactivity throughout your presentation
  7. Avoid reading directly off of your slides
  8. Keep your slides simple – limit the amount of information per slide
  9. Avoid fidgeting but don’t feel the need to stay standing in one spot
  10. Have confidence in yourself and your presentation

Recommended Guidelines:

  • 45 min presentation = 15 slides max
  • 60 min presentation = 20 slides max
  • 75 min presentation = 25 slides max

☑ Acknowledge your session(s) participation on the Speaker Management page of the Speaker Gateway

☑ Utilize your Speaker Marketing Dashboard to promote your session (email media@share.org with any questions)

☑ Upload presentation through the Speaker Management page of the Speaker Gateway

☑ Review session details as noted in the Speaker Gateway
